As an adult education center, we partner with many community outreach programs in order to better serve our students. This is a list of a few programs with a description and a link.
BEOC is designed to provide information regarding career exploration, financial literacy, FAFSA, enrollment counseling, and academic coaching to adults desiring to pursue a program in ANY post-secondary educational institution. The goal of the BEOC is to increase the number of residents in the Assumption, Lafourche, St. Mary and Terrebonne Parish area who enroll in post-secondary educational institutions.
BEOC also assists eligible students in paying for their HiSET test.
YouthBuild is a comprehensive youth and community development program funded through the Start Corp.
Our local technical and community college helps us offer CNA and other classes that are co taught with one of our faculty members. In addition, there are over 10 programs are students are eligible for at little to no cost.

The WIO Act requires LA Works and Adult Education programs to partner. They help our students pay for certifications and on-the-job-training. We help refresh any academic needs for their customers and help those in need obtain a high school equivalency diploma.
Community colleges also run adult education programs. They offer funding for students without high school diplomas to earn certificates at little to no cost.
